I was trying to decide which vacuum cleaner I would buy to replace the Hoover I have had for the last couple of years.
The main reasons for choosing a Goblin was the price (if it does not last long then it is cheap enough to replace, in truth the spares on the more expensive makes do not last that long anyway so why not try the cheap and cheerful approach) and also my Mum had an older Goblin that lasted for years.

When I first used this I was surprised by the power of it and the pick up was very good. I was also pleasantly surprised that it was not as noisy as I was expecting.
The only downfall with this is that the cord does not retract into the body of the cleaner and the lead is not as long as on some other makes.
The cleaner is smaller than previous ones so that is also an added bonus as space is at a premium in my home.
