... bought this for my dad for christmas and was quite disappointed although it is good for getting out quickly if something is spilt or for cleaning the car it only has a six minute charge, this is the case no matter how long it is on charge for so if you have a dirty car to clean you will have to do it in stages, it also takes a while to recharge. Dyson DC16 ... Dyson hand help vacuum is quite an impressive looking little machine. It is orange and grey and has a clear bin so you can see how much it is picking up. It also has a crevice tool that I thought looked useful. I love my Dyson vacuum so thought that this little one, which has the famous "root cyclone" technology, would be very useful for me. I paid £89.99 for it which I thought was a little pricey but was reassured by the brand so thought it would be worth it, mainly for the car but also other little tidy up jobs round the house. Hoover S48DC6 ... this hand held hoover is not as powerful as a normal hoover it is great for a regular cleaning of smaller crevices and corners and inside the car and stairs, it is so much more efficient than having to get the big hoover out all the time. I have Wooden floor and find it great for hoovering up bits on the floor and hoovering the sofa if crumbs have been dropped. Its really light weight means it isn t strenuous on your arms which is great as previous hand held hoovers i have used sometimes gave me aches or pains in my joints because of their weight. Home-tek HT807 ... bought the Home-Tek (also known as Hunter) from the lakeland website about 6 months ago. We decided to get a handheld due a split hose on our dyson. I must say that this is a fantastic little vaccum cleaner. We mostly use it for cleaning the stairs and it picks up, even treaded in, dirt easier than our dyson did (and it gets everything out). The pile is really brought out and the cable is more than long enough to cope with a flight of stairs. Considering we use it on "heavy traffic" areas it does an excellent job.
