Firstly I have to admit, I do not have this hoover at home, only at work...but I can assure you I do A LOT more hoovering at work than at home, I work in a nursery and the children love this hoover, if it wasn't a good hoover which it most certainly is...I think I'd still use it if only to hear the excited squeals of 'Henree da hoova!' whenever it's gotten out - which as I've said before is a lot. One good thing about this hoover...and I know this is sad but you really do develop a bond with him, I can honestly tell you there is not a single nursery nurse in my workplace who doesn't gentle coax him with phrases like 'come on Henry!' as they drag him along-and ... When I first saw this advertised I assumed the micro meant it was a smaller version of the standard Henry vacuum cleaner that is so popular with commercial cleaning companies and builders however when I looked into it I discovered that actually the micro was short hand for a thing called the Microtex filtration system which is meant to make the Henry even more effective at removing dust and helping alleviate or prevent harm from those with dust allergies. I paid £79.99 for mine from Dixons in a sale they were having and it is a great little work horse that smiles at you all the time, no matter how happy it is though the fact that I hate vacuum cleaning so much ... I bought Henry after using friends as it seemed so much more powerful that my old Hoover vacuum cleaner. I was sick of using an upright that couldn't get underneath beds and sofas without using the attachments and was looking for a good cleaner that was lightweight enough to be easily wheeled around the house. Henry fits the bill nicely, his powerful suction makes vacuuming the house a doddle; I have a cream wool blend carpet throughout most of my house and sock fluff, hair, crumbs you name it seem to stick to it like Velcro!! It would take me forever to vacuum using my old machine; however Henry cuts the time down by a good 60% as I only have to go over an ... Read the complete review

I love the fun look of this vacuum with his cute little face. It gives an otherwise boring appliance a bit of character. But it is still vacuuming after all and that's no fun cheerful face or not. My dogs hate Henry because of the noise he makes but I don't think this vacuum is as loud as others. I say this because we have had quite a few over the years and most of them were much louder than this one. It's not quiet believe me but it's not unbearable, I can't listen to the TV while vacuuming with out having it blasting to the extent that the TV becomes distorted. But I can hear the phone if it rings, muffled admittedly but I can still hear ... Read the complete review

I got the micro Henry Hoover a few months ago when our 'cheap' hoover gave up the ghost. I had used Henry at work and found him very easy to handle. With a long cord I can hoover from one end of the house to the other changing plug sockets only twice. He sucks up all manner of wee stones, cat litter and dust with no problem. The adjustable nozzle means taller or shorted folk won't get a bad back. The only disadvantages I find are the bags that are required, however they last a while so it isn't too expensive. Also you have to twist a handle to recoil the cable and can't just step on a peddle! But really that disadvantage is clearly just down to ... Read the complete review
