Advantages: Extremly powerful hoover

Disadvantages: Lacks the extra little features to make life easy/convinient

Henry, one of the most famous vacuum cleaners, thats because people buy it and why do they buy it, because they just cant say no that face, its like rejecting to adopt a puppy when it gives you those cute puppy eyes.

No seriously Henry is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I moved from a good solid Miele and even i was suprised when i found the actual vacuum to be better on the Henry then it was on teh Miele.
This Henry maybe small but it sure does pack a punch.

However why would i never give this hoover 5 stars. Simple it maybe a fantastic hoover but it lacks all the other extra features.

These features include a proper storage of the different cleaning heads, the hoover does include clips for you to put them on but you find that the pieces just fall off.

The next major problem is that with my old miele the vacuum clipped onto the tube and the pipe clipped into place with the long pipe however with the henry you just use all the force in the world to ram it on. What this means is not only do you have to put in effort going against the lazy factor but also if you dont put it on properly you will lose suction.

Another problem is the difficulty with replacing the bag, you really have to force the bag into place, its kinda like putting a condom on the henry but like all condoms they could rip as could the bag, sometimes youre putting so much force into putting the bag into place that you rip the bag. With my Miele hoover you just had to clip it into place.

The next problem which again goes into lazy factor is that my Miele had an auto re-wind feature, so the wire would automatically retract, with the Henry you have to keep winding it in. Although it does require less effor than you'd think to rewind it.

Another problem is that there is no way to make the brush head stand whilst everything is connected, at the moment i prop it up against a chair to hold it up right.

I know i have listed a lot of problems but overall the hoover is great. Its small, compact, light and it can suck everything out of your carpet however it just lacks some of the small things which makes life easy.

Summary: The little things add up to take this hoover away from that perfect mark

Some good info here but really, to compare Henry over Miele? Who are you trying to convince? Having both models I can testify that the Henry is much bigger both on floor space and dirt capacity but the two machines are different because you go to no length to mention what particular Miele model you had to give a fairer and clearer comparison.

Instead what you could do is to add a lot more user info to this machine as it will entice future buyers. Info such as:

Cost price
Price of bags
Filtration
Cord length
Weight
D ownsides - does Henry fall over for example?
