Advantages: Flexible, reliable

Disadvantages: Can be difficult to store away

We inherited 'Henry' about 3 years ago, at the time we had a Dyson and assumed that he would take up position under the stairs gathering dust. However, 3 years later the Dyson is rendered useless and Henry is still going strong.
We did a lot of house renovations during that time and Henry has been bashed about a lot but has never let us down. He is so easy to use, we don't really make use of the accessories.
The power cable is nice and long (there's nothing worse than having to keep moving from plug socket to plug socket) and easily retractable.
Ours doesn't really use a 'bag' as such, it just has a filter that keeps the dust underneath it, we tend to just bang this against the wall to clear it. On 2 occasions we have bought a new filter (about £20).
I much prefer this to uprights, especially dysons, trying to hoover your car or get to difficult to reach places is a doddle with Henry.

There's a guy in the Underground who busks with one of these rigged up to dance an play instruments. It's quite bizarre.
