Henry v's Dog Hair
After much debating about hoovers my partner returned home with this little hoover 3 months ago.
Bought for £97.89 from Argos
Came with free bags (cant remember how many...sorry!!)
And it comes with the obligatory carpet nozzle extension pole and some hand accesories.
The slim nozzle for those hard to reach places down the back of the sofa.
(crevice tool)
A nozzle with bristles to sweep and suck the dust off hard surfaces or quite usefull for the leather sofa.
(dusting brush)
And the mini carpet tool
(upholstary brush)
The two wattage settings are brilliant i use the low setting on the laminiate which is more then capable, and on carpet in low use areas again the low setting and hallways the high settings. This is also engergy saving so great if you aim to be as green as possible.
This is what i have found with mine personally
We have several floor surfaces in our house, tile, laminate, lino and carpet(three different kinds)
Works great on Laminate, Tile and Lino and most of the carpet.
Problem i have is with our hall carpet and Dog hair!!! It just doesnt budge, i have to use a brush first then hoover on the highest wattage setting. I hoover everyday an our collie malts quite alot so if you have a dog who doesnt leave half of his fur where ever he lies then you'll be fine with this little hoover. But its not so good with our fur ball of a dog!!!
Over all its great, real easy to use and quite light when carrying up the stairs.
May be a down side is that its bagged still but it comes with a few bags and a funky little red Henry bag for all the accessories.
Over all great hoover would recommend to non doggy home though.
Summary: Great little hoover for non doggy home

(PS To improve pet hair pick up you really need to invest in a turbo brush. You can pick one up on EBay rather than pay £30 to £40 for Henry's own default brush attachment. Any tool measuring 32mm will fit Henry.) |
