Advantages: A quiet vaccuum cleaner

Disadvantages: None so far

I really didn't want to buy a Henry, having only ever seen them used in a commercial setting, but in the end I realised that price and efficiency had to come first.

I opted for the less common yellow version of the popular vaccuum which came with 5 free bags and a pretty cool inflatable ball with Henry's face on!! All this cost me around 100 pounds.

I have had it now for over a year and it hasn't let me down. Even when faced with long ginger cat hair Henry doesn't struggle. The selection of nozzles covers every eventuality and the vaccuum arm can be shortened easily.

One of the most handy things about the Henry is the low/high power selector. It's good for those of us who are aware of the electricity we use, but also useful to have a bit 'extra' for those particularly difficult areas (doormats, cars etc).

In terms of useability, the Henry wheels about as well as any other vaccuum cleaner and has a handy protective bumper around it to avoid any damage to both the vaccuum and your door frames! The nozzle is a good length, meaning you can easily vaccuum your stairs - a problem I have had previously with other vaccuum cleaners.

The bag change is very straightforward with this vaccuum, everything fits easily and clicks into place. There really is no danger of dust flying everywhere!

Another bonus is the patented recoil on the plug cable. This is made so that it WILL NOT BREAK! It also will not get TANGLED like on other vaccuum cleaners (we've all been there!). This is brilliant and saves a lot of time and stress!

For me, the thing that tops this vaccuum cleaner off is the unobtrusive sound that comes from it even at high power. I love to be able to listen to music whilst cleaning, and with this vaccuum cleaner, I can do that very easily.

Overall, a hard-working, compact and sturdy vaccuum cleaner that will last many years (and cheer you up when you see that smiling face!).

Summary: Sturdy, reliable, humorous vaccuum cleaner

You could say then, Henry hums not blares. Very useful review. I dislike noisy vacuum cleaners, and can never hear the telephone or door bell when mine is in use.
