Advantages: Good suction, plenty of attachements
Disadvantages: Could be heavy for older people
Got our first Henry Hoover a few months ago, after another cheap Hoover blew up after less than a year's service we decided it was time to spend a bit more on something that would hopefully be a bit more hardwearing. I paid about £80 from Homebase at the time it had £20 off and was the cheapest I could find it for in the shops, did not have time to wait for something to be delivered.
I saw Henry comes in a number of different colours and even has a female friend in Pink. We decided to go for the blue one (instead of the traditional red); I must admit the Smiley face for me does add a bit of fun to a normally boring household product. It comes with a good selection of attachments and the red bag to keep them in was a nice touch.
For us the Hoover is spot on, the suction is good and never seems to leave any dirt behind. My girlfriend insists on her Rabbit having the freedom of the front room and it does an excellent job of picking up his little presents. I find Henry pretty light to carry up and down the stairs, my partners elderly mother has one and does struggle to get it up the stairs though. When using the normal Hoover attachment at times I find it can be a struggle to push forwards (not sure why).
It is much better for cleaning the car than our previous upright. I have not measured it but the cable is a very good length and easily allows me to go from bedroom to bedroom upstairs without the need to keep unplugging. It is very simple to change the Hoover bag; I must confess I have struggled with some of the other Hoovers we have.
Although we have only had Henry for a little while I am very pleased with him, only time will tell how durable he is but I think it will last a good few years. Thumbs up for Henry.
Summary: An excellent all round Hoover
