Advantages: extra long hose, very long cable, lightweight, big dust bag

Disadvantages: he wont talk no matter how many questions you ask, my kids love him (have to fight them off when i want to use him), not loud enough to drown out the sound of my teenagers music

well this is my first opinion, although i do find myself guided by what i've read here, so i thought "why not do one my self"

i've used other cleaners, vax, hoover, elecrolux and goblin, but henry is the best i've ever owned.
my tale begins almost 3 weeks ago, while i was using my vax cylander cleaner, picture the scene, i was ready for a full days house work, i had every thing written down to plan, pluggeg in my vax and... nothing, blast! odd thing was it worked upsairs but not down stairs, yes i thought that was odd too.
so mother in law came to my rescue with her trusty hoover, plugged it in and... nothing!!

by this time i was getting desperate, as my family had come down with a bug, the house was rather dirty, not to mention a bit smelly, so i whent shopping for a new vaccum cleaner,
and i couldnt resist his cheery face.

in over 20 years of house cleaning, i've not used a better cleaner, Henry really does the job.
and if he's good enough for my plumber then he's good enough for me.
would i reccomend him to my friends?
I already have, my whole work place infact!

Alas poor Henry i knew him well....

after 2 years of faithful service Henry has decided to "play up"

he no longer wishes to respond to the gentle coaxing that i've tried, but no matter what i do his nose (hose) keeps falling off (at mostly the most difficult time) and his brush head seems to have developed a problem that can only be solved if you use him left side on.

he has been sent to the upper floor of the house to live out his last days, he is still working as hard as he ever did, but his unfortunate habit of his nose release has made him unsuitable for general heavy domestic use.

I will miss his extra long hose because it made cleaning the stairs an enjoyable task.
but as he's upstairs now he should have a very long life helping my kids keep their rooms clean.

Farewel l Henry

you were well worth the cost and i would definately buy one of your brothers again.

A slightly belated welcome to dooyoo from me ;)

We have a Henry and I agree it's a super little cleaner. And such a nice smiley face - how could you resist?!

A nice first op but could use a bit more info to get a VU rating. As Fishy says, have a bit more of a read about the site and you'll soon get the idea.

Wishing you lots of fun here ;)

Welcome to dooyoo. I have had a George for years and the Numatic have a reputation for never letting you down. I also have a Dyson now, but wouldn't let George go. He is resting at the moment instead.
