Advantages: Small & Light, easy to carry around & easy to store
Disadvantages: Fills up quite quick
I bought this hoover after my trusty Henry gave up the ghost. I was looking for something cheap that would do what it says on the packet (so to speak).
I only paid about £40 for this hoover & must say am very pleased with it, it has a 2000 watt motor so the suction is more than enough.
The hose length is 1.5m with metal telescopic extension tubes, you can stretch it to hoover most of your stairs but I do find it easier to carry it up and place it on the steps (its narrow enough to stay there without tumbling to the bottom). It also has no problems picking up pet hair.
It has a 2 litre dust collection box (bagless) with a washable filter. You also have a variable power option (so when im doing the wood floor I can turn the power down a bit as not so much suction is needed).
There is a foot operated cord rewind and on/off control and the accessories includes pets turbo brush and combined crevice tool/ dusting brush. On board tool storage & 5m power cord.
I find this hoover nice and light to carry around and it is nice and compact so it fits in our under stair cupboard no problem at all.
All in all if you are looking a cheaper hoover (prices range from £50 - £70) then I would reccommend this, its easy to use, easy to store & has more than enough power to hoover all types of carpet.

- 16/02/09 Using a spec list only tells half the story; it comes with a pet hair turbo brush so is it easy to use generally? Is this vacuum noisy in use when its made to go to full power? Is it dirty when it comes the time to empty? What about the general quality? Justifiable for the price? Filtration? Do you get additional filters?
