Advantages: Powerful Motor - Efficient Bagless System

Disadvantages: Overall poor build quality - tricky to change drive belt, accessories keep falling off.

Upon first use, we were very pleased with "The One", which is an excellent cleaner. However the accessories are poorly positioned and keep falling off. Then the head ratchet, which keeps the handle upright broke, and interfered with the carpet/floor button. During use, bits of the casing regularly fall off. Then the handle, which is a very poor design, snapped. Hoover were quick to send a free replacement to be fair. Finally, both wheels have fallen off, and all this in under 2 years. The cleaner itself is fine, and maybe we were unlucky with the purchase, but the build quality was extremely poor and has soured my opinion of Hoover products.

Summary: Good motor - spolit by poor quality build.
