This Hoover Purepower U3138 was one of very few uprights which comes with a lifetime washable dust bag (its called Lifetime solely for that reason) so is cheaper to run in the longterm. Good suction through the hose, it is slightly heavy to steer and can be too noisy. Still better than later models and difficult to find nowadays. Worth it however for that washable dirt bag.
