Hoover Hurricane HU4177T ... agree with the previous reviewer. The design is terrible. The flimsy bit of plastic holding the telescopic handle in place snapped after less than 20 uses of the machine (mostly with the handle not even extended). So I need a replacement handle. OK, I go to the Hoover Spares web site and they don t even list this model of cleaner! Another design flaw is the power cable, which enters the machine very low down. This means constant bending to lift the cable out of the way. And the filters are not at all easy to clean without getting all the filtered dust etc straight in your face. Hoover S48DC6 ... this hand held hoover is not as powerful as a normal hoover it is great for a regular cleaning of smaller crevices and corners and inside the car and stairs, it is so much more efficient than having to get the big hoover out all the time. I have Wooden floor and find it great for hoovering up bits on the floor and hoovering the sofa if crumbs have been dropped. Its really light weight means it isn t strenuous on your arms which is great as previous hand held hoovers i have used sometimes gave me aches or pains in my joints because of their weight. Hoover Slalom SL8123 ... s latest claim of new technology in its floor care industry is something called "Airvolution" and it is a patent that sees its design being used on Hoover s newest bagless upright and cylinder vacuums known as the "Slalom," "Freedom" and "Xarion" range.
