I have had a kirby for 5 months and they seem great on the outset. One day my kirby decides to have asurge in power and pulls up an eighteen inch thread from a flat carpet and threadbares my carpet completly. Being a large company you think I would have been treated fairly but no. I send e mail to explain my problem and I am ignored, I send a second and i am told a representative will contact be shortly to look at the problem , un-beknown by this kind soul at head office I have already had the franchise who sell your kirby knock my door , puff his chest out and act intimidating as I have "missed a payment" and was going to " take my kirby away from ...

I have never heard anything good about Kirby's sales approach, I'm sure it works OK for the american market, but the british who tend to work on a more suspicous level when it comes to high pressure commision driven sales people is never going to work, we don't like all this good morning sir are you having a nice day by the way that's $300. The british tend to work on here it is, this is what it does, and it costs £x I do understand why they sell it the way they do most people wouldn't even look when they knew the price, however an upmarket selling approach through specialist shops like Bose or maybe through exclusive retailers Like Harrods or John lewis would work ...

the kirby hoover is as stated "the best on the market". These little monsters have been around since 1914 and and were invented by an english man named james kirby. They are now produced by the scottsfetzer company in ohio america where they have been since day one of production. The company is now owned by warren buffet one of the richest men in the world . The machine is made of light weight dicast aluminium and packs a measly 600 watt sealed motor (dysons etc have and average 1200 watt motor) this means no dust can get in to the motor meaning no loss of suction and longer life of the motor the bag wich comes with these hoovers is known as a hepper 11 ...
