If you see the Kirby and you don't buy it you are a filthy pig !! The salesman proved to me in 10 minutes it would get ALL the dirt out of my carpets, that I paid $6000 for. I for one don't want to buy new carpets ever 7-12 years when my kirby will keep them clean and stop them from wearing out. The machine cleans my kids mattresses of dust mites and also shampoos the carpet better than a so called "con man" professional carpet cleaner !! Get real ! Who can get dirt out of carpet by shooting it with hot water ?? That makes mud, mud doesn't float, it stays deep in the carpet to dry, turn back into dust and start wearing my carpet out.... You'll spend $3000 on a bloody plasma but you won't protect your family or the investment you have in your floor coverings and soft furnishings ? You pig !!!
