Stop Letting your great product down by your bad selling techniques! This is England! (Kirby GSix Vacuum)
Member Name: Jason Wickson
Advantages: The list is endless! Disadvantages: A little heavier than a normal hoover. I have never heard anything good about Kirby's sales approach, I'm sure it works OK for the american market, but the british who tend to work on a more suspicous level when it comes to high pressure commision driven sales people is never going to work, we don't like all this good morning sir are you having a nice day by the way that's $300. The british tend to work on here it is, this is what it does, and it costs £x I do understand why they sell it the way they do most people wouldn't even look when they knew the price, however an upmarket selling approach through specialist shops like Bose or maybe through exclusive retailers Like Harrods or John lewis would work better. There will always be people who will pay an exclusive price for an exclusive product and I think this is Kirby's niche market, you only have to look at the american range of fridge freezers sold in harrods like Maytag we love them there bigger and brasher than the understated british size fridges and we buy them in droves and they cost 10 times more than an electrolux, and Kirby I have no doubt would be the same if there reputation hadn't been tarnished by there sales techniques . Everyone is bored of the flimsy plastic dyson shite the only other hoover on the market that makes you believe in it is the new Miele upright. Anyway to the point in question is the Kirby any good? Yes it's fantastic it's robust durable and only having owned it for 3 weeks I believe in it, buy it off of E-bay spend as much as you can afford it's great! Summary: Amazing engineering simple but dependable, Like an old Mercedes you know it will go on forvever!
