Advantages: does most of what they say it will

Disadvantages: price and very rude salespeople

i am one of the unfotunate few who have been pressured into buying one of these monstrosities. My only excuse is that they caught me on a bad day when i was ill and my husband was at work and I ended up buying the thing just to get them out of my house. The salesmen turned up and proceeded to tell me all about the wonders of this machine and the things it could do for me!! 3 hours later and after several phone calls on my phone to see if they could reduce the price for me, several requests for cups of tea and being asked to leave several times I signed the piece of paper they kept waving in front of my face just to get rid of them. The baby was crying for a feed and I just wanted some peace and quiet.
Granted it is a good machine. But the replacement bags are every expensive, somewhere in the region of £20 for 6.
The attachments are varied and because I complained about the sales tactics to my local area manager I was given a sander attachment free (so generous eh?)
But it has come in handy lately for sanding down my dining room furniture so I can revarnish it because I can't afford to buy a new set because of the price of this damn hoover.
I am left with a machine that is very heavy which I am unable to use (my husband has to do the vacuuming for me), I will not be able to sell it on because no one wants one.
I say to anyone else who these crooks visit please just be rude and slam the door in their face because if you let them into your house there is no telling how long they will be there.

Pls review the actual machine and not the sales pitch. Do you review the sales pitch of your new car when reviewing the capabilities of a motor?

The are good machines but there is no way they are worth over a thousand pounds. We let them demo to us every couple of years just to find out how much the price has gone up to this time! It's always a good laugh because we know the script now!

My Partner worked for this company and he was not rude. His sales pitch lasted no more than an hour and a half and he did well. I agree the product is expensive but it is a very good machine and I found uses all over the house for it. From Shampooing the furniture and the floor which comes in handy when you have a small child to giving our car a full valet. It was good during the summer no getting out of breath blowing up kids toys ie paddling pool blow mine up which was 6ft long in less than 2 minutes. It would be a lifelong investment and has a life of about 40 years. I know some one that has been using one every day since 1923, so they can't be that bad.
