We purchase one of these devices on the basis that the power head would be light to push around than a standard upright cleaner. We have had the unit a bit over two years. We have replaced the telescopic down tub once, it failed at the connection to the hose after 13 months. We purchased a new one. This has failed again since. Also the Plastic housing that connection the down tub to the powered sweeper head has broken and the electrical connectors has also failed. If you plan to purchase one of these I would recommend taking out the extended warranty.
