	LG VU 5545 NBS ... white bagged upright which uses a high filtration material bag and LG’s identical HEPA filter. It too is priced below £50.00 currently at Argos but has a manual height adjustment dial as opposed to the LG s super automatic adjustment. But if you see the Slimax on eBay consider it if you are looking for a bargain bagged upright cleaner. It may not be perfect but it ticks most of the boxes for outright performance, versatility and day to day cleaning. 	LG Cyking VC 716 HSL ... an excellent vacuum. As much power as a Dyson (300 air watts and 1600w)and nowhere near the cost. You ll be amazed at how much dirt comes out of your carpets!!!!!! Easy to clean (if a little yukky!) but at least you know your house is a lot cleaner afterwards! A useful feature is the variable power switch is on the hose where you hold the vacuum - no more bending down to change the power. 	LG VC717 ... purchase one of these devices on the basis that the power head would be light to push around than a standard upright cleaner. We have had the unit a bit over two years. We have replaced the telescopic down tub once, it failed at the connection to the hose after 13 months. We purchased a new one. This has failed again since. Also the Plastic housing that connection the down tub to the powered sweeper head has broken and the electrical connectors has also failed.
