I decided to add some more info to my review and edit it a little bit. I hope it has become much better and more useful.

We bought this kind of vacuum cleaner about 5 month ago and we like it really much. We decided to buy a Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner because we have two small children who crawl all over the house so a reliable and long lasting vacuum cleaner was needed. My elder son is afraid of the vacuum cleaner's noise but not of this one's noise. It is quiet but sucks everything very well. We replaced a Samsung vacuum cleaner which worked nicely but was too noisy for the kids.
There are a lot of good vacuum cleaners on the market, I am sure, but if you choose this one, you will not be disappointed. There are days when I have to hoover the whole house 2-3 times.


Price
It was about 200 pounds which is quite a lot, but it was worth every penny. It is easy to handle and sucks well. It has very useful features.


Features
It has Allergotec floorhead. There is a sensor on the floorhead which shows whether your carpet is clean already or not. It is red when there are larger dust pieces on the floor, orange when there are less and smaller dust pieces but it is still not clean and it turns into green when it is really clean.

Its cord is 6.5 metres long, which means for me that I can use it all over the house, but not in the conservatory. If I want to use it there as well I have to plug it somewhere closer.
It has 4.5 dust capacity. We couldn't fill it in five month, although there are days when I have to use it 2-3 times. Not because I like cleaning the house so frequently. lol My kids are hard-working too. 5 dustbags (G/N type) cost 5.99 pounds, 20 dustbags cost 19.99 pounds at www.dustbag.co.uk

Has a 2200 W motor. This is very strong. I usually use it on minimum because of the noise and still it is able to lift the carpet from the floor. It has 12-stage filtration system.
It has a great cable rewind! You push the button and it really rewinds the cable quickly. This is one of my favourite features. The replaced Samsung hoover's cable rewind worked slowly. This hoover has an extremely quick and strong cable rewind feature.

Telescopic tube. I know that cylinder vacuum cleaners have telescopic tube, I shouldn't mention. But this one is so soft when you touch it. It feels as it was made of silk. It is durable (my kids often play with the unplug hoover.
The most useful feature: parking system. It used to be a problem where to put the vacuum cleaner and how to place it to be stable. This vacuum cleaner has a hole on both sides to fix the floorhead part to it.

The accessories are in the hoover itself (integrated). It has a mattress nozzle for example, which I use occassionally.
It is easy to carry (5-6 kg).


My opinion
I would never buy another vacuum cleaner than Miele. I think I said everything with this. It is reliable, sucks well, easy to use, great features. The designer tried them I am sure. It meets all my requirements. I like that it is quiet. It is easy to store and the rewind function works quickly. I recommend it!
