There are 2 versions of this hoover, we have the standing up-right version, the cylinder version did not appeal to us as it would be harder to fit in the cupboard which we have specifically for the hoover.

Having 4 cats in our house which cast a lot of hair, we found that our old hoover did not get rid of the hairs completely, therefore we found this £290 hoover in red, which by the name, seemed ideal.

Its dimensions are 116cm x 34.9cm x 37.7cm and it weighs 9.5kg- i'm not the strongest of people, but i find it light enough to use.

The chord length is 10m- which is more than enough for our bigger than average living room and kitchen.

With 1800W, it is very powerful, and we find that it picks up hair and any other things on the floor easily.

The 6L Dust bag means that it does not have to be emptied very often- despite hoovering most days.

The hoover comes with many great features: upper cable hook; suction hose holder; sucion hose with handle; release button; telescopic tube (maximum of 0.7m in length); dust compartment filter; telescopic tube release button; vacuum cleaner foot release; exhaust filter compartment; elctrobrush; dustbag change indicator; dust compartment release button; HyClean dustbag; control unit- a rotary dial to change power suction between curtains, deep pile, low pile or smooth; button to change from carpet to hard floor (you can hear the sound difference which lets you know if you have not changed the setting); and the on/off button.

On the back of the hoover, you have: the lower swivel hook for mains cable; upholstry nozzle; carrying handle; crevice nozzle; dusting brush with natural bristles; and telescopic tube holder.

The mini turbo tool which is also provided with this hoover is great, having the power to pick up cat hairs from the sofa and cushions.

It has an impressive and unique swivel neck joint, which means it can easily glide around the floor to those hard to reach places, and it means less force and effort is needed to turn the hoover (you just have to kind of twist your wrist rather than going back and forwards like most hoovers)

The Active Air Clean filter takes away odours- got to be honest, haven't really recognised what this does.

All of the many features from this hoover are great, and we will not be needing a new hoover any time soon.
