Advantages: Excellent suction and cleaning
Disadvantages: New brush head and price
I bought my Miele vacuum cleaner after my 1 year old Hoover died! After my hoover, the Miele was a dream come true. Although Miele products can be slightly more expensive that other brands on the market, I feel this represents the improved quality and the increased life of Miele.
I have had my Miele Cat and Dog vacuum for over two years now and it is still as strong as ever. Owning two cocker spaniel dogs which regularly drop hair and are groomed daily creating more hair, I needed a vacuum which was designed for animal hair.
The vacuum works really well, it isn't quiet but the noise also isn't excessive. You don't have to go over the same spot several times as it tends to pick everything up on the first or second go. The casing is very durable although it does get scratched from hitting doors/skirting boards.
Overall a really good vacuum and good investment for a clean house.
Summary: Overall a great vacuum well worth it if you have animals

- 13/05/09 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A good start here. If I was in the market for this I'd like to know a bit more info such as:
Weight
Smaller tools use and do they hide away on the machine?
Any suction settings?
Long power cord?
Maintenance
Filtration
Cost of bags
How long does one bag generally last?
UK Cost price of the product.
Brush head - did you need a new one, what happened to the old one? The Cat & Dog model comes with one or two turbo brushes for pet hair pick up.
Adding info isn't compulsory but it could inform buyers better. If you update your review or need help please msg me.
