I have two fluffy cats who like to leave their fur everywhere and after struggling with Henry the Hoover for long enough, I decided to look for a proper hoover that could do the job. I bought this hoover because of all the great reviews it had received and am glad that I did.

This hoover has really good 'suckage' power! It copes with the large amounts of fluff that seem to magically appear in my house each week. The upstairs part of my house is laid with carpet and the carpet attachment manages to lift up and get rid of the fur that somehow always seems to get ground into the fibres of the carpet. The main body of the hoover can be sat upright which makes it easy to use for cleaning on the stairs.

The hard floor attachment is just as good at cleaning up random bits of cat litter that get kicked out the tray on a daily basis and for cleaning up general house dirt. My litter tray is in the downstairs wc and the head of the hoover is easily manoeuvred to get into the tight spaces, which is also handy for hoovering between the chairs and dining table.

The neck is fully adjustable and suits my 6 ft 3 husband just fine.

The only down side is that the bags need to be replaced occasionally. This hoover came with a spare bag, but when I ran out I went onto the Miele website to buy some more. They aren't too expensive and the bags last quite a long time, and the quality of the hoover means I don't mind!

I've had mine for three years and it has never shown any signs of needing replacement. Even if it did, I think I'd buy another Miele Cat and Dog product again.
