A godsend for allergy sufferers (Miele Cat and Dog)

Disadvantages: Human hair gets caught in the turbobrush

I recently moved into a house previously owned by a family which kept 2 dogs and a cat. Being allergic to dust and hair, as well as being asthmatic, it was a real problem, and my old vacuum cleaner was not helping. So I bought a Miele (a company to be honest I didn't know much about) Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner in the hope it would help. Well, after a few weeks things are a lot better, and I put it down to the Miele.

As for the product itself, its well made, its quiet compared with my old Electrolux, you get lots of attachments that actually do something useful, and the bags self-seal which I think is a great idea. The speed settings are practical (i.e. you'll use most of them) and it picks up dirt you don't even realise is there.

My asthma has improved a lot since using the Miele, even though I'm now in a house with a history of pets. After this experience I would seriously consider buying Miele when buying future household goods and recommend you do likewise.
