Advantages: Power is incredible
Disadvantages: Cleaning tool is slightly too short for tall people to use comfortably.
This machine is incredible- we cannot use it on its full power as it pulls up our carpet!
We got it to replace an old vacuum, and were assured by the staff in John Lewis that it is better than a Dyson. We have not been disappointed at all.
The actual unit is fairly sturdily built, and a bit heavier than some other similar machines I have used, although the tubing is very securely fixed and looks like it will last. The only problem that I have noticed with it thus far is that the cleaning pole (not sure what they are called- the ridgid bit on the end) is quite short, and so I as a fairly tall man have to stoop when using it.
I am sure that it can be picked up quite cheaply- it was just over £100 from John Lewis when we bought it mid-2008.
Summary: Excellent vaccuum cleaner.

- 07/10/08 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A lot more info is needed here for future buyers. Add in more details such as:
Cord length
Does it take bags? If so are they large and do they last long?
Noisy? Heavy?
Attachments - good quality, well designed or not?
Variable suction control?
Filtration aspects?
Miele pipes are usually height adjustable and have a couple of inches more than the standard vacuum - a boon I find as I'm 6ft.
A bit more involvement in your review should ensure future buyers get more info should this model arise in their buying needs. If you update your review please message me.
