At around £240 this vacuum cleaner isn't the cheapest available but also it isn't as expensive as a similar Dyson. My family has owned this vacuum cleaner for around three years now and has not needed to replace any parts although there are actually spares available on the internet. ---SUCTION--- This vacuum cleaner is powered by an 1800 watt motor that produces a decent amount of suction but without a massively loud and annoying sound. I have found that this product is decent enough to pick up all sorts of mess from pet hairs to crumbs and everything in between. This product doesn't just suck though as it can blow as well for some uses with an optional attachment. With six settings on the front dial of the product, including an economy setting, you can specify exactly how much suction you actually want. A great feature I find that isn't available on a lot of vacuum cleaners nowadays. ---AESTHETICS--- This product comes in many colours so you can integrate it perfectly with your household. Personally I have a dark blue-ish model that has a glossy sheen to the finish. The hose is silver to match part of the body of the product and the stainless steel extension. There are also some black parts to this product and although there are many colours in one place I think that product actually looks quite sleek and stylish due to its smooth and compact shape. It's certainly one of the better thought out designs of vacuum cleaners on the market as you can see someone hasn't just added a handle or feature at the last minute. ---PORTABILITY--- Okay so a vacuum cleaner that has a hose and body that can possibly fall over isn't the easiest for cleaning a room with at times but actually I find that a hose style vacuum cleaner is much easier for cleaning the stairs or intricate places in a room. When it comes to transporting this product it is simple to disconnect the hose or extension so therefore it can be packed up, stored, or moved very easily. ---BUILD QUALITY--- Well as stated this product has been in use for years now and all we have had to do is empty it out and clean it every now and again. (Though this isn't that often with the four litre capacity). There are a few scratches on the product but this is just our harsh use on the product. As stated there are replacement parts available if it ever did break down though it is designed to last for 20 years and comes with a two year guarantee. I feel that the product is well designed, made and that it will last for at least the tested 1000 working hours, with great safety features like a thermal over heating cut-out. ---EASE OF USE--- The end of the hose has a well-designed 'foot' attachment part that works well on either carpet or wood floors without scratching the surface of things. One down point of this hose and attachment however is that it is quite tall and cannot fit under the edges of sofas and other items that easily like other vacuum cleaners can. The long power cord on this model is also a benefit as you have a ten metre operating radius, useful for large rooms without lots of power sockets. This cable then automatically rewinds itself when you're finished with it. There are also lots of different attachments for this product to help you tidy the whole room from top to bottom with a dusting brush, upholstery nozzle and a crevice nozzle. ---OVERALL--- This product has and continues to work splendidly for our household and I am very pleased with our purchase. Okay so it's not the cheapest product on the market but I feel that you need to spend some money to make sure that the product is going to last you and end up cheaper in the long run. Highly recommended, five stars!
