We bought this vacuum originally when we lived in a small one bedroom flat. It has followed us through a move to a much bigger house and the arrival of the small mess maker.
It has coped with every eventuality admirably. The suction is still as good today as it was the day we bought it. Regular cleaning of the internal filter is all the maintenance it appears to require. A simple task as it is very easy to remove by first removing the dust collection section and following the instructions for removal. Then the filter simply needs rinsing under running water until the water runs clear, it does however take quite a while to dry! I found this hugely preferable to needing to replace the filter as you need to do with some other brands.
The attachments I have found to be great quality. Especially the small head which is great for stairs and small hard to reach areas. I use the brush head on the extended handle for dusting hard to reach areas like the tops of doorframes. Very useful if you aren't very tall. I think one of the most useful attributes is the huge extension on the handle which all the attachments can be used with also the fact all attachments can be used directly off the hose. Great for skirting-boards and under radiators. The only bad thing I can think of is that there is nowhere to store the small head attachment. The other two store easily in a handy cradle on the handle.
The power cable is a good length, I don't find it gets in the way at all especially with the easy retraction function. The castor wheels allow great mobility, even over thick carpets.
The dirt once sucked up is separated into lighter 'dust' and heavier debris. This allows for a greater amount of usage before it requires emptying. Emptying is a dream. Having emptied many upright vacuums and been covered in the contents, the removal of the containers is done by an easy push of a button, the whole canister comes away from the unit. Keeping all the dirt safely inside until you get to the bin. Another simple button releases the bottom of the canisters. All the dirt safely in the bin, no chance of blow back! A handy feature is the 'cone' inside the debris side is removable from the top, this allows you to get at any stubborn hairballs which often get wrapped around vacuums.
It is super easy to store as it folds up so small.
I have used many different brands of vacuum and I have to say I find this to be on parr with many much more expensive premium brands
