Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: None

I bought this product from tesco just before christmas after my Dyson broke. It was quite cheap so I thought I would just buy this one for a while until I managed to save up for another Dyson.

I have now changed my mind though and I have no intentions on ever buying another Dyson.

I paid £74 for this as it was on special offer at the time.

When I got it home and opened the box I was quite upset to realise that it was all in bits and I had to put it together myself. I am not very good at things like this and it took me over an hour to do it.

When I switched it on and started using it I was impressed by it. It was quiet compared to the Dyson I used to use and it was harder to push because of the force of the suction.

It is the Pet version (I do not have pets but I thought it would have made the suction better).

It has an eco friendly 1000w motor which is just as effective as a 2000w product, it allows you to save energy and reduce running costs without having to sacrifice on the performance.

it is 6.4kg in weight which is light enough for carrying up the stairs, it also has a handle on the back which makes this easier.

There is a stretch hose which needs to be attached at the back and then the attachments can be connected onto it. There is a one that is specially made for using on the stairs and makes it much easier to do.

There is a 2nd brush bar which helps with picking up things like pet hair, this can be switched off when using on hard floors to stop scratching.

There is an easy clean filter with is a HEPA one. 4.2 ltr dust holder which means that you will have to empty it less often.

I would never go back to a more expensive make hoover as I think this is brilliant and well worth the money I paid for it.

My Mam has just paid £170 for a new Dyson and she came to my house last week and decided to hoover for me, when she did she was in shock at how good it was and she regretted paying all that money for hers.

Summary: Great value for money, quiet, couldn't ask for better

Good compact review here - sounds like a well rounded model.

If I was in the market for this I'd like to know if the stretch hose is long enough to get around corners or upstairs. Also are the filters washable? Does it have a bin that empties downwards like modern Dysons or do you have to open the bin at the top and remove the filter first? Does it have more than one filter you have to clean?

Updatin g your review isn't compulsory but you'll inform buyers more of this model in question. If you update your review please message me.
