I have had my eye out for a steam cleaner for a while as they are environmentally friendly and are very effective. I was thinking if i was going to get one, then i was going to buy a brand that i knew of and knew that they were a good make to buy from. I bought the Morphy Richards Grime Buster about three weeks ago. I had been using my next door neighbours steam cleaner and found that it was excellent for cleaning carpets. (After a vax machine even spitting on the carpet cleaned it better!). The Morphy Richards grime buster is small and has two wheels that allow you to move it around easily. It is very light and has a carry handle on the top. Getting Started The water tank has a 1.8 litre capacity and this will produce enough steam to clean a good-sized lounge carpet. I bought this steam-cleaner last year from Ebay after hours of watching TV shopping channels extoling the virtues of similar gadgets. I don't use the steam cleaner on a regular basis but it came out again for the spring cleaning and have to admit it is great for floors. It's easily moveable, just like a little cylinder cleaner. The different attachments snap on and off easily. It is easy to fill (I boil the water first in the kettle as this saves time on heating it to steam tempterature) BUT if you use all the steam the machine needs to cool down completely before you can safely remove the stopper and refill. WOW!!! This machine is ideal for the house it has all you need to remove those tough stains. I bought this one for my grandmother due to the fact that it is small so easy for her to use and it was the best investment I made as far as cleaning goes. It has attachments for everything you would need to clean from carpets to sofas to windows and its great for lino. Having pets in the house I find I borrow it to keep my allergies at bay.
