Advantages: works well
Disadvantages: bags are difficult to change
I went into the shop to buy the pink version of Henry, but they didn't have one. The sales assistant telephoned around all their shops in a 50 mile radius, but none of them had a pink one, so we bought the "male" version! I know it doesn't make any difference to the performance of the hoover, whichever colour it happens to be, but I just love anything pink and wanted the pink one!
Anyway, I've had lots of hoovers in the past and after a month or so they all seem to lose suction, but I've had my Henry for about six months and he's still working as well as the day we bought him! The only downside is that because he's a round shape, sometimes he rolls over which can be pretty annoying, and I find the bags, that have a rubbery seal that needs to be stretched over the inside nozzle, tend to split if you dont get the positioning of them right first time. I have solved that problem though - I get my husband to change the bags!! He has had the same problem , but not as often as I did, I think because he is stronger and can stretch the seal out further.
This is a very good value hoover - around £90, and it does its job very well, and is tough and sturdy and seems built to last, unlike some of the plasticky, flimsy designs out at the moment. The bags are available from most supermarkets, which is always a good thing because you dont need to go chasing around looking for a shop which sells hoover bags, you can just get them with your shopping.
Another good thing about it, it has a long lead, so you dont have to keep unplugging it to reach everywhere.
Summary: great little hoover

- 17/01/09 Welcome to Dooyoo. A good review here.
For extra usefulness to future buyers it would be good to know more info such as:
Do you find Henry noisy in use?
Easy to use as a general all rounder despite the long hose?
Any small cleaning attachments - do they fit on the machine?
Pricing of actual bags?
Filtration qualities - do you find Henry keeps back odours well?
Any auto cord rewind design built in or similar?
Actual weight?
Easy to use pipes?
Look out for the HEPA bags for Henry - they are relatively cheap for what you get, have a material disposable nature to them and have rubber seals with plastic grips on them - ideal if you worry about ripping the normal bags or if you have pets. If you update your review please message me.
