Advantages: Strong, well made, easy to use, reliable
Disadvantages: none
It feels slightly odd to be so attached to an inanimate object, but I think this hoover is wonderful.
I was initially given a second-hand one (approx 5 years old) to use when I was renovating my house. I used this 2 or 3 times a day for a year for really heavyweight jobs, like hoovering big lumps of plaster, nails, tonnes of dust, grime, bits of glass and all manner of other nasty things that shouldn't be hoovered up. Henry coped admirably with this and only over-heated once (when I used it for around an hour without a break). Once it had cooled down it worked perfectly again.
Now I use a lovely new Henry for basic household cleaning. I find all the attachments useful: the long pointed one is great for reaching under cupboards and down the back of radiators, the brush attachment is perfect for dusty areas like shelves and curtain poles and there is another which works well on upholstery.
It's very easy to change the bags and the cord retraction is clean and convenient. The casing is made from very tough and hard-wearing plastic and all the parts are well-made and durable.
Essentially, i'm impressed by just how hard-wearing these cleaners are. I used mine for purposes well beyond any reasonable use for a household vacuum and it never let me down.
Summary: Henry has coped with everything I have thrown at it.
