Advantages: Easy to use, reasonably priced, lots of accessories, cute face.
Disadvantages: None.
I have quite a few friends and family who I frequently babysit for or house sit for. When I have been looking after somebody's house for a few days or weeks, I like to ensure it is tidy as possible for their return. This means I've used quite a few vacuums in my time.
Henry is a high performance vacuum cleaner is instantly recognisable. There are several different colours in the Numatic brand, who each have an individual name. Henry is red in colour and round. He had a powerful motor and a three stage filtration system, he is light and has a convenient carry handle.
There are some different attachments available for the Henry, but the one I have used in the past is just the standard brush head with a high and low control. Some of the attachments are quite expensive, but you should see Henry as an investment as he tends to last for years and years. Henry is suitable for light commercial use and has a robust construction with a 9 L capacity. His dimensions are 340 x 340 x 370 mm so he should comfortably fit in a cupboard or small area of your room.
Cleaning range of Henry is around 25 m and the power lead can easily be wound up to be stored inside the Hoover. This is just another useful feature, and very simple.
My personal opinion of the Henry is that it is very simple to use, easy to clean and simple to pack away. It is fairly lightweight and I have no problems carrying it up the stairs. While Henry is not the best of his that I've ever used the suction is ample. He cleans well and the adjustable brush is very easy to use.
I have used the Henry in the past when working as a cleaner, and this tends to be the cleaner's choice. Henry is reliable, never breaks down, and the Hoover bags are reasonably priced and readily available.
Henry is available from Amazon.co.uk for a very reasonable price of £87.however, I have seen this for cheaper in the past, and in a previous company I worked for were purchasing them for around £65. I think that this is a very reasonably priced Hoover as from what I have experienced in the past he tends to last for many many years.
I will continue to use the Henry whenever I house sit and when I have my own flat. If I can find one for a reasonable enough price I will no doubt buy it. I'm going to rate him 5/5 as I personally think he's perfect and no doubt our brief meetings will continue.
Summary: A fantastic Hoover that works well.

- 12/08/09 No matter what you have to pay, get a Henry, they are so worth the money. We went through about five of the £30.00 cheapy hoovers, (totalling £150), which means the £100 I have spent on my Henry is an absolute bargain. It also lets me hoover my entire flat, (which is a reasonable size), without having to change the plug over. Amazing vacuums! Donna x |
