This is a good vacuum, but there are a few little problems that really hit you!!!!! Well, there is the problem with the no-where near long-enough hose to vacuum the stairs - it comes flying up and hits you in the rear. Also when using the hose, as soon as it begins to extend the vacuum falls over, this could break the machine! It would have been better to site the hose at the rear of the base, not half way up the body. Owing to it's lightweight design, an expanding hose is not really viable for this machine.
