Advantages: good suction

Disadvantages: filthy task to empty, quickly clogs up, fiddly filter cleaning

A little over a year of use, but regret buying this bagless cleaner. It is a filthy task to empty and clean the dirt container and the pre-filter. The pre-filter quickly clogs, after cleaning just one room. Aready one of the brushes that wipe the dirt from the pre-filter has broken off and the experience of a years use suggests it is not worth buying a replacement part, better to cut my losses and buy a different machine. Cleaning the main filter is also a fiddly task which is reccommended to be done after each use. For the elderly with increasing dexterity problems this can also be a difficult and even painful task.
The only plus point is the good suction that the cleaner provides. this is just not enough to justify buying it as the job of emptying it is just so much of a problem. The dirt flys every where as you empty the container and you need a thorough cleaning yourself after this.
No I would not reccommend this cleaner to anyone.

For all their weaknesses i.e. losing suction, bagged cleaners are still easier and cleaner to empty! you should have got a henry

Welcome to dooyoo!

Was considering buying a slightly different panasonic model to this to replace our ageing, and now less reliable, Hoover, but now I think we'll have to re-think this.
