I have owned one of these hovers now for about two years. It was a replacement for another Panasonic hover that I owned previously. The hover is supposed to have a special feature that allows it to lie flat in a cupboard by the handle rotating downwards. It also has a long hose as well as a bagless cyclone action suction system. In the time I have had this cleaner I have had many problems. It cleaned well initially but after several weeks it started to make lots of noise despite it not being blocked. Just like the previous reviewer i bought this vacuum cleaner as it was a Panasonic (which I thought was great quality) and it was lightweight with a moveable handle for extra storage capability in our flat. We unpacked it, plugged in and away we went to clean a weeks worth of grime as the other hoover had suddenly lost all suction! First thing we notice is how well it picks up everything off the carpet and rugs. The suction was excellent and we thought we are onto a good thing here! Bought this as it was a Panasonic (which I consider great quality) and it was lightweight. Unpacked it, plugged in and away I went. First thing I notice is how well it picks up. The suction was great and left nowt on the carpet. I was very impressed. The hose and all the attachments were ok too (hose nice and long, reached to top of stairs fine). HOWEVER, after less than 10 mins of vacuuming, the motor cut-out! Took a look at the front of the machine and the heat coming off it was unreal! The bin felt really hot!
