Take all the advantages of the Polti 2400(if you haven't read the opinions on the 2400 please do so), and then add the suction power of a quality vacuum and you have the Polti 900. For technical details visit - www.polti-ltd.co.uk. I will focus on usability. I was on the verge of buying the 2400, when I found out about this product. As carpet cleaning was high on my requirements list, I was attracted to the 900 by its ability to suck the dirt out of the carpet in water, rather than the 2400's method of collecting dirt on a cloth. I have borrowed this product from my mother and think it is fantastic, it shall definatley be the next appliance on our list. With this steamer you do not need any detergents, just water, you simply fill it up, wait for the pressure to build up and away you go. I have spent many hours scrubbing as we own a St Bernard (you can imagine the dirt she brings in) But with the polti vaperetto all you need to do is jet the area with steam and simply wipe over with a cloth, Yes its that easy!!!!!
