A quick trip to Currys at a local retail park and we returned home with our snazzy new purple machine for the fab price of £54.95!!! Far cheaper than any other cleaner in the shop. Quiet Jet, as it is called, is a 1300watt upright cleaner. It has adjustable floor height settings which range from hugging the carpet so that your nearly picking it up to gliding effortles...more

I recently bought a new upright cleaner. We have tried a Dyson which was passed on to us having had a couple of journeys down the stairs!! This worked fine for a while until we went on holiday and our freind who was looking after the cats decided to hoover up some used cat litter...not recommended...the smell was awful every time we switched the cleaner on!!!!I have a cylinder one already but following my car accident I am finding it rather arkward to use.
