Advantages: No bags, easy to use and cheap price
Disadvantages: None yet.
After 12 years of faithful service our Electrolux 610 finally died. So it was a quick trip to Argos to replace what had been a good vacuum cleaner for its time. This time we decided to go for a bag less replacement. As there is only two of us and a Cat, it did not seem worth spending the £200+ for a Dyson, so we went for the Sanyo Pulse SC-X100. Which could be described as the cheaper version. The Sanyo Pulse is nicely built, and comes in a Grey and Blue colour scheme. It gives you 1500 watts of power and has a unique Dust press system, which means it compresses the dust giving you more dust capacity, it has 3.3 litre dust capacity cylinder. There is a floor height adjuster to cope with every type of flooring, light carpet through to heavy carpets and hard flooring. It has Edge to edge cleaning. It has Static class filtration, which does not need to be cleaned, but the dust filter can be taken out and washed, meaning a life time of use, if looked after. All the tools which includes pipes, crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush are stored on board the vacuum cleaner making for easier use. What is nice it has an easy lift handle, and because the vacuum cleaner is light it makes this a joy to carry around. It also comes with a booklet telling you about the machine, and how it works and which bit does what. On the back is a Trouble Shooting page, which helps you if for some reason your machine has stopped working. All in all this vacuum cleaner seems well produced with everything thought of. So far we give this a thumbs up. If you do not want the expense of a Dyson but want the performance then try this Sanyo for size.
