Advantages: none
Disadvantages: clocks up at least every month once, extremely loud, does not clean properly
In a nutshell: Clocks up at least once every month (if one uses it on regular basis). Suction-power is very low for 1500W input-power and becomes lower during use. Needs to be emptied already when the dirt-container is only half as full as the maximum-mark suggests. Extremely loud. Badly and cheaply designed. It does not suggest a long life-line. Quite heavy, quite big. Resume: It does not do what it supposed to do ? to clean. ----------------------------------- When I bought this vacuum-cleaner and used it the first time, I found, that the suction-power is rather very low for 1500W input-power AND extremely loud. After approximately 2 weeks the suction-power was even lower. I quickly realised, that this vacuum-cleaner does not keep its promise: It supposed to clean WITHOUT suction-loss - as a ?cyclone?-vacuum-cleaner. It didn?t stop there! One must not vacuum-DIY-dust with it! It immediately clocks up the filter, which costs at least 30minutes to clean it properly. Further don?t try to pick up with it anything bigger than a pea!! It WILL clock up the suction-pipe-angle next to the dirt-accumulation-container. To clean that, one needs to take out the dirt-accumulation-container, turn the vacuum-cleaner up-side down and spill all the dirt inside on the floor ? that is the only way to do it. Otherwise ones risks, that remaining dirt inside the vacuum-cleaner goes into the motor. You can imagine what would happen next if one doesn?t do that way ? another 10min.! If you have allergic-problems ? forget - it! - unless you want to risk to breath in all that fine dust. After all this happened I went back to the shop from where I bought it. I got rude comments and was asked, whether I am a ?vacuum-cleaner? expert? Well, indeed I am design-student and can say with expertise, that this vacuum-cleaner is extremely an extremely faulty design
. It shouldn?t have been allowed to bring this vacuum-cleaner on sale. It certainly has not been tested properly by Sanyo ? or do we have to assume, that Sanyo brought it on sale knowingly as it was?? Then I was told, that they will test it, but I will get a result in EARLIEST 2weeks. How am I supposed to clean my flat and do D.I.Y. during that time? So I had the choice, not to clean at all, to buy a 2nd vacuum-cleaner or to borrow one. I still have that vacuum-cleaner and now I am in contact with the Trading Standards Department. This vacuum-cleaner is at the edge of being criminal, because it does not do what it supposed to do ? to clean.
