Sanyo SC X130:
... Sanyo SC X130 was the vacuum that I bought to replace my old Dyson, proving the old saying you don t know what you ve got until it s gone . I wanted a new one because I wanted something lighter but that would still have the same sort of performance. It cost around £70 and I bought it from Littlewoods catalogue a few years ago. This model is bagless, which appealed to me, and is an upright model. Mine is silv... Read the full review: Just never buy one of these by englishrose |

Sanyo SC X120 Pulse ... was the first upright I had every owned, and purchased to replace a troublesome Dyson. I was impressed with the appearance of this machine - super stylish, and did not look out of place standing in the living room (for want of nowhere to put an upright!). It did the job much better than I had expected and I was well pleased with it. After using for a couple of months I decided that looks were not everything; the casing was not so sturdy as it looked, and the bottom cable clip snapped - back to the shop for an exchange! The second model performed brilliantly for about 3 months, and then became super noisy and the motor blew up. Maybe you just get what you pay f... Sanyo SC X80 ... had a major bypass road routed very closely to our house, we found that although noise levels were not so bad, the amount of dust in our house rose dramatically. So when our old faithful vacuum cleaner finally died, we looked at the bagless cleaners on offer. Bags were costing a fortune, and keeping the dust down was a real battle. After much searching and questioning, we finally came across the Sanyo SC-X80 on promotion in Curry's. At £99.99, it was a very reasonable price compared to other brands (July 2002). It also came in two colours, a kind of pale red, or lilac blue and I have to say, because the colour also extended to the hose, flex and just about everything... Sanyo SC X1500 ... I got rude comments and was asked, whether I am a ?vacuum-cleaner? expert? Well, indeed I am design-student and can say with expertise, that this vacuum-cleaner is extremely an extremely faulty design . It shouldn?t have been allowed to bring this vacuum-cleaner on sale. It certainly has not been tested properly by Sanyo ? or do we have to assume, that Sanyo brought it on sale knowingly as it was?? Then I was told, that they will test it, but I will get a result in EARLIEST 2weeks. How am I supposed to clean my flat and do D.I.Y. during that time? So I had the choice, not to clean at all...
