ok, most people have not heard of Sebo vacuum cleaners. That isn't a surprise as they have only been in the UK for about 10 years, but since their introduction into the UK Market, they have gone from strength to strength. In fact, they have come out top in Good Housekeeping reviews the last couple of years so quite good recommendations there!

Although they come in boring colours, grey or white for the upright X1, compared to the more design conscious Dysons, they are work horses. Sebo have over 50% of the world commercial vacuum cleaner market and are used in such places as The White House, The Kremlin and Disneyland Paris.
All internal parts on Sebo's are guaranteed for 5 years and their drive belt is almost unbreakable as it is toothed and also hidden from the main roller whereas the belt on a Dyson is toothless and more prone to stretching and breaking. Ask anyone with a Dyson DC01 how many times they change their belt and then ask someone with a Sebo the same question!

They were the first upright vacuum cleaner in the UK to get the Seal of Approval from the British Allergy Foundation for their HEPA filtration which basically means that it is excellent for Asthma Sufferers. The HEPA filter on this vacuum cleaner comes as standard whereas on other makes you have to buy it extra or buy a higher priced model to get it as standard.

Also another great point on the Sebo is that you can get access to all channels where dust can get caught without the use of a screwdriver so it can be unblocked very easily.

So, if anyone is considering a Dyson, please look at the Sebo first and you'll the difference!
