Sebo Automatic X1 ... really wanted a Dyson but I m so glad I got a Sebo! This machine might not be the prettiest; its boring, boxy and white, but I can not fault it. For 10 years it has vacuumed without any problems at all. The only thing I do is buy a pack of 10 bags, which comes with replacement filters and change them with each pack. The instructions are quite specific, there are two lights which alternate when you first switch it on, these display whether the machine is moving the brushes up or down. Once it has finished this it is ready to clean. I ve always kept it still for this which seems to give it the best chance to get the opitimum level for the surface. The pack of bags... Sebo X4 Pet ... as Miele had done the same with their lack of trial offer on their latest S7, it seems I ve been flavour of the month but in the eyes of salespersons from John Lewis and sadly not Sebo. During November and the reach up to Christmas I had tried several Sebo models citing that the Felix was probably the best model I had tried. But with the start of a new life with new property around the corner, my mum knew that, despite my huge sell off of vacuum cleaners (yes, perhaps one day a Museum will surface) I just couldn t resist returning to the Sebo X range where our family owned X1 Automatic had lasted 13 years without gripe. Sebo Felix Classic ... was bought as a present. Before this we had gone through several vacuum cleaners that seemed to die long before their due date - including a hoover and a morphy richards. We have 2 cats and a dog, and a mixture of hard floors and carpet, so we needed something quite powerful. The Sebo Felix makes hoovering far far easier. It is self-propelled and it only takes about a tenth of the time to hoover the house that it used to. It is also easy to maintain - if the brush gets blocked all you need to do is turn the bottom whilst pushing a button and the brush pops out so you can untangle it.
