Its very powerful, don't know how many air watts but lots. This is a fairly good cleaner that is simple and very easy to use. It is also easy to see all active parts. Although I cannot yet comment on its longevity as I gave only had it a month or so, I have tested it on various types of surface and the results have been more than satisfactory. There are 7 level height adjustment from deep pile carpet to hard floor surface. The wide cleaning head has an edge clean feature with a dual suction system for more efficient dust pickup.
