Typhoon 1800 Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I bought this for only £40, amazing bargain at www.oli.co.uk and only £4 delivery. This is an amazing vacuum cleaner, not just because of price. Its very powerful, don't know how many air watts but lots. Bagless too, and comes with lots of attachment inc extra belt and tube pole (that cracked on my previous vacuum cleaner, a Hoover, & I had to superglue it, could come in handy) Ingenious design, it has a small attachment that's called a "turbo brush" which is like a mini vacuum, ideal for stairs or car, etc. and it packs neatly into the handle. I purchased a Typhoon 1800 Vacuum cleaner at the end of March 06. Having read all I could about it and all the usual things I was looking for Bagless, Hepa filtration, and the all great Tubo brush for those unwanted pet hairs. It is a very good looking machine, ajusts to all types of flooring, and good suction.I found it rather on the heavy side though but ok as it had all I wanted in a cleaner and the price very good . Unfortunately 2 months of ownership ,of moderate use, the drive belt broke. I had major problems trying to get a spare, All my local electrical shops did not stock any. This is a fairly good cleaner that is simple and very easy to use. It is also easy to see all active parts. Although I cannot yet comment on its longevity as I gave only had it a month or so, I have tested it on various types of surface and the results have been more than satisfactory. There are 7 level height adjustment from deep pile carpet to hard floor surface. The wide cleaning head has an edge clean feature with a dual suction system for more efficient dust pickup.
