Bissell Easy Vac ... bought this vac for my elderly (86 years!) mother and wow! this is a fairly powerful wee thing which she finds easy to manoeuvre and handle. Initially after I purchased this for her, I was a bit concerned that it looked too "plastic" and may not be up to the job. I have to admit to being a bit of a Dyson snob - HOWEVER I was sufficiently impressed at the amount of dirt/dust which was sucked up in this machine (boy my mother s carpets were either pretty grubby - yeuch, or this is genuinely a nifty wee vac). Dyson DC07 ... I was very sceptical about buying a Dyson, as the claims at that it is the best vacuum cleaner on the market is not exactly cheap to test out. Although eventually I decide to buy one as other family members recommend it when the cheaper vacuum cleaner that I had previously bought had finally given up. One of the reasons that I decide to purchase the Dyson DC07 was because of the fact that it was on special offer in Argos at the time. Really I was not fussy about what model of Dyson that I purchased, as to me they all seem the same; with the only intention of using the Dyson as a normal vacuum cleaner. Dyson DC24 The Ball ... ve owned the DC24 for over a year now, it looks as good as new and still works fantastically well. First impressions once out of the box were that is was smaller than anticipated (if you have a large house you may be better off with the DC25) and the design was a bit "busy". However, once I found the quick start booklet, I was up and running within 2 minutes. It really is extremely well designed with lots of nice touches. The track is narrow but this means it gets into places that no Hoover has ever been before, and as it picks up first time, cleaning time is greatly reduced.
