... purchased this one before purchasing the Dyson one. Got it specifically because it was for homes with pets. Absolute rubbish. I wanted an upright for ease of use as all of my new home was carpetted. Cream carpets with 2 balack and white cats and you can imagine how much of their hair showed up. Dyson DCO7 ... hearing about how great Dysons were so with 2 failed hoovers and cat hair and now dog hair and muddy paw prints to contend with I thought I d invest in one! And again I ve sung its praises to everyone! I don t think I will ever now get another make! The suction is incredible and I am easily pleased as I find it fascinating to see all the rubbish it sucks up so I like the clear holding canister! My previous hoover had a specific pet hair turbo tool which was rubbish and minute so took forever to cover a whole floor. VAX Appliances V-124 Dual V ... moving into a rented property which had cream carpets I panicked slightly so invested in this product when it came out. I have 2 cats and a boxer puppy so I needed any assistance in keeping these carpets clean. There are a variety of cleaning fluids you can buy to use in it, a general spring clean freshness and tougher pet cleaning solutions. There is also a concentrated pet stain spray that you can pre treat areas with. The cleaner itself is heavy but makes you feel like its really working on the carpet because of this! Dyson DC14 Animal ... the name suggests this is an Animal of a vacuum cleaner and it takes a bit of taming but, once conquered, it s a pussy cat. This is the first Dyson I have purchased and, as the owner of a perpetually molting dog, this was a much needed buy. It really is a powerful cleaner, it gets all the dogs hairs and all sorts of other debris out of the carpets, it s quite frightening looking into the plastic bin at what has been sucked up. It comes with useful brush attachments and a telescopic handle to get to the hard to reach places.
