Electrolux Z2255DZ ... recent times there have been a few members on Dooyoo who have often asked me what the best budget vacuum cleaner is on the market that can cope with cleaning up pet hair and I have to say I find that a difficult answer to offer just one brand or model. Usually most buyers aren t happy to go down the bagged route of vacuums because they have to buy bags. However in my experience, when it comes to clearing up a pet, there s nothing worse than having to remove the hair and put up with the odour when it sticks to the top of cyclonic filters which are claimed, by design are easier to remove when it comes to disposal. Bissell 8910E ... purchased this cleaner from Argos purely to keep clean a beige carpet in my hallway and lounge. It came in a nice big box and the only assembly is to screw the tools casing at the back and connect all the hoses. This is quite simple to do. It will clean hard floors, carpet and upholstery. The attachments allow you to clean upholstery and for stubborn stains on the carpet. It has two types of cleaning fluid, one for carpets and one for hard floors. These can be purchased from Argos or direct from the Bissell website. Cleaning fluid costs £13-£15. I find on my carpets this will do three cleans of 30sq metres a time. Dyson DC24 The Ball ... have to agree with what Dyson say that their vacumms "never lose suction" I used to have a cheap hoover with a bag which needed replacing constantly which was a pain! I bought a Dyson when it was on offer & i have to say im glad i did! They leave the carpets so clean my mum noticed i had hoovered as soon as ahe walked into my house! They have loads of brilliant attachments for getting into corners & all your nooks & crannies! Great for hoovering around & under furniture & tables.
