Dyson DC14 Animal ... owned a dyson for years now aI wouldn t be with out one. decided I would try out this animal with being a pet owner. Emptying the cylinder is very simple- just a flick of a switch. It was surprising to see just how much pet hair- invisible to the eye- the machine had picked up. The suction power is second to none and on the odd occasion when it picks up something it shouldn t with the parts dismantling- it is easy to see where where any blockage is. One thing I do find however is that compared to other vacuum cleaners on the market dysons tend to be a little heavier. The telescopic wand is great for vacuuming the stairs. Numatic Hetty Vacuum Cleaner ... is the girly pink version of the much loved henry hoover. Comes complete with a set of tools and a funky pink bag to store them in a set of big eyes and 5 hoover bags. There is a high power button for those stubborn bits of muck that just wont come up on normal speed. I purchased one of these in March this year expecting it to last at least five years after becoming disillusioned with Dyson. As a domestic goddess I use these (obviously not the pink version!)at work all of the time and have been known to drag them up and down the place upside down, trap the cord in doors ect. Electrolux Z580A ... is one of the most disappointing electrical products I have ever purchased and what made matters worse was the laissez faire, nonchalant, couldn t care less attitude of the Electrolux Customer Care department. I was attracted to purchasing this vacuum cleaner because it is cordless rechargeable, lightweight, bagless, has a washable filter, is easily manoevred around small spaces and awkward areas and has an integrated hand held vacuum cleaner which simply pops in and out of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. It cost me £65 which is not particularly cheap but because of the features above and the name Electrolux, which I had previously perceived to be a decent bra...
