Having 2 young children you can only imagine what my carpet gets like when they have been let loose on it. I carpet clean alot as im a very house pride person and i like things looking like when they was bought. I bought the Vax and it was about £100 at the time (they have gone down quite a bit and i saw one other day for £59.99) This has been a god send, it really does get your carpet looking like its original condition when bought. Its so easy to use, just put the bottle/tank under the tap and put 3 capfuls of solution in and away you go. Its not as loud as i thought it would be and its als alot lighter than i thought it would be. When you go back round sucking the water up you can see how much dirt was burried in your carpet (even if you think your carpet looks clean it really isnt) I was going to buy a bissell for around£200 and im glad i didnt, the vax is just what i need.

Summary: Really good carpet cleaner, save your money on the expensive ones and buy one of these.
