I mainly bought this piece of equipment to clean the floor tiles in the kitchen and porch as floor cleaner, even the best brands and bleach just weren't getting the floor back to the original colour (plus I am paranoid about bacteria, etc. due to my job being orientated around hygiene and food safety).

A steam cleaner is the best way to reduce dust mites and other bacteria that can't survive the high temperatures of the steam cleaner.

I chose this product as it had a few good reviews on the Argos website and it wasn't ridiculously priced. It was roughly £70 and comes with about 14 accessories.

I love it, don't know how I got on so long without it. I have used on the carpets, upholstery, floor, tiles, windows, etc. It's great but don't think it's going to make cleaning a walk in the park you still need to put a lot of effort into it and it is essential to let the steam work so your not breaking your back.

The tank takes approx 1.4 litres and takes about 15 mins to warm up. When you first press the trigger for the steam do it over an old cloth as it splurts like an iron can when you first turn the steam on.

It has restored the tiles in the kichen to there original colour. They look like they have just been laid!

It has fine detail accessories for the grout between tiles, upholstery accessories, an accessory for cleaning windows, hard surfaces, lino and wooden floors. It may be advisable to test a patch that can't be seen just to make sure that no damage will be done, but I have had no problems.

The only thing I dont like is the fact that the power lead does not retract back into the cleaner which is obviously for safety reasons due to the heat. When storing this can be irritating.

Most of the accessories are stored on the front of the cleaner it's self which is practicable and handy. There is attachments to make the nozzle longer for cleaning winows, etc.

It's really ease to use but if using it in a cold room on a cold floor open some windows to prevent condensation.

It's easy enough to manouver as it has two large wheels on the unit it's self. It's not that bad looking either, nice and compact, modern looking with baby blue colour.

I am really impressed with this piece of equipment, it has a variety of uses and it a reasonable price. Nice and compact and does a good job, gets into a lot of hard to reach or clean places. Kills dusts mites, gets rid of odour, etc.

Summary: Great piece of kit, i'd be lost without it now!
