Advantages: Simple switches, dual brushes, easy foot lever.

Disadvantages: Quite heavy to push and quite noisy

When moving into a rented property which had cream carpets I panicked slightly so invested in this product when it came out. I have 2 cats and a boxer puppy so I needed any assistance in keeping these carpets clean. There are a variety of cleaning fluids you can buy to use in it, a general spring clean freshness and tougher pet cleaning solutions. There is also a concentrated pet stain spray that you can pre treat areas with. The cleaner itself is heavy but makes you feel like its really working on the carpet because of this! Its easy to figure out with minimal attaching of buckets/tubes etc. My one before was also a vacumn cleaner and it was too much to make the changes each time! Switches on handle and a lever that you hold in whilst pushing to administer cleaning solution. Also a rinse cycle to wash out any unwanted detergent. Carpets are left damp but not sopping. Haven't had to get the instructions out since first using it. Shocking how much dirt comes out of your carpet but they do look like new after each washing. I try to do mine at least once a month now as I need to really with the mutt but it always looks lovely when done. Would definately recommend to anyone and have even sung its praises to my dad ... the drawback being there that I was asked to clean 3 of his rooms with it! It took a while as his house is bigger! The main knack with this is to gooooo veerrry slooooowlyyyy over the carpets and I also wiggle it side to side a little over stubborn marks! Seems to do the trick!

Easy to understand instructions, quite heavy but does clean. Containers are not huge so easy to move and empty or refill clean water. Because they are not massive it does mean emptying after each room/carpet, more frequently if a more thorough washing is done.

Summary: Does a very good job, cream carpets look cream despite the best efforts of my animals!
